We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue organization specializing in the rescue of Cocker Spaniels. We are not a shelter. Our rescue process involves finding loving foster homes for all the dogs in our program until their forever home can be found. As you can imagine, we are in constant need of volunteers, foster homes and funding. Any help given in any of these vital areas is greatly appreciated and essential for our efforts to continue.
We are a newly formed rescue in the Houston area, with over 25 years of combined rescue experience. We help all injured, abandoned, and aim to save dogs from being unnecessarily euthanized. While specializing in German Shepherds, we are working towards educating the public on microchipping, spaying/neutering, heartworm treatment and prevention, and many other pet needs. We are working to build partnerships with other rescues and work tirelessly to assist in the overcrowding of shelters while placing these precious animals into loving forever homes.
Loving Arms Pet Placement is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization created to address the problems of stray and abandoned cats and dogs in Houston and Harris County. Our organization is comprised of dedicated volunteers who foster animals in their homes as an alternative to taking the animal to a shelter.
The City of Bellaire Pound is committed to serving and protecting the health, safety, and well-being of all people and animals in our community through enforcement of state and local laws and by providing compassionate care for every animal within the city.
The mission of Henryu2019s Heart is twofold. First, it helps pay for the myriad minor costs frequently borne by its dedicated team of Italian Greyhound rescue volunteers. These volunteers perform many functions and fulfill many needs including things like transportation, foster care, providing prescription dog food, nail trims, heartworm medications, generating required paperwork, finding forever homes for rescues and any other realistic needs that help support a rescued dogu2019s quality of life.rnrnHenryu2019s Heartu2019s second, but also important mission, is to support the needs of mixed breed or special needs Italian Greyhounds who fall outside the rescue guidelines of the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation (IGRF) but who are still so deserving of a chance at life and a loving home. rnrnMany of these activities generate costs beyond the scope of the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation which funds most of the veterinary care to rescued Italian Greyhounds throughout the United States. Henryu2019s Heart was founded to supplement those national efforts and to support our local volunteers who fulfill the precious mission of helping dogs in need of rescue
Our mission is to save as many lives as possible by seeing that each dog is fully trained and socialized before adoption so they are never again returned or discarded. We give homeless/ lost dogs a warm, special touch to show them that they are loved. We want them to return that love after learning to trust again.
