Here at Lucky Strykes Dog Rescue, we are a 501C3 dog rescue organization devoted to finding homes for large breed dogs (50lbs+) who have no where else to turn.u00a0 We like to rescue dogs from euthanasia and give them their u0022Last Chanceu0022.We give them the care and attention they need before finding them a safe and secure forever home. We are very selective on the families we allow to adopt our dogs. Each family is carefully screened in order to make sure they are a perfect fit for their new life long best friend. Large breed dogs come to us from various situations: financial reasons, development of allergies, families moving away and unable to take the dog with them, and many more. Some dogs are found as strays with no identification to locate their original family. The reason a large breed dog comes to us is not as important as our mission to take care of large breed dogs. These dogs are often first to be put to sleep in shelters because medical treatment and food for large dogs is more expensiv
